SVSC Programs

SVSC Player Pathways

Seaway Valley Soccer Club (SVSC) is a fully sanctioned club providing youth soccer to the Cornwall and SDG area. With over a thousand athletes each year our programs revolve around two pathways for players who wish to be competitive and for those that want to play recreational soccer.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS

  1. Our Blazers program is our competitive program.  We run both boys’ and girls’ teams from U8 to U18, with tryouts in the fall and training throughout the winter starting in November. In May, teams follow a twelve-week (home and away) schedule competing with teams from Ottawa, Kingston, and other communities from around the region.
  2. Our Coyotes program  is a development program that helps to support the needs of players who aspire to play competitive or cannot make the full commitment to a traveling team over the summer. Coyotes players tryout in January and begin training in March each year. Our Coyotes teams get a taste of competition attending three tournaments/festivals over the summer and have a weekly training session in addition to playing in House League.

RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS

  1. Our House League program is our youth recreational program.  We offer age groups from U5 - U18.  They played weekly league games from May to August at the Seaway Valley Soccer Club fields. House League players are provided with developmental training as part of their experience as well as inter-mural competition to assist in their development.
