Cancellation of House League and Coyotes 2020 Season

Due in part to the closure of facilities, the uncertainty of distancing orders surrounding recreational programming, the amount of time it would take to properly organize a recreational soccer program, SVSC must in the best interest of all, unfortunately cancel its House League and Coyotes programs for spring/summer 2020.  It should be noted that this decision did not come lightly, but the safety for all is the most important to the club and we appreciate the patience from parents, players, coaches, and officials.

Should the situation change with current conditions of COVID-19, SVSC will be looking at other options to provide possible soccer training activities once it is deemed safe to do so.

Please be patient during this process and wait before sending an email or reaching out to us via social media.  Our intent is to have everyone’s registration refunded by June 15th.

At this time, we will be processing refunds for HL and Coyotes registrations first.  If you made your payment thru Sports Engine, you will be refunded with the same payment method.  For those who paid by cash/cheque, you will be receiving a cheque.  We will send an email to all individuals receiving a cheque to make arrangements for pick-up.

IMPORTANT - Blazer Program Update

The Seaway Valley Blazers has had to make the very difficult decision to shut down the Blazer program until after the New Year.  This includes all team practices and exhibition games. This is effective as of 12:01 AM on Sunday December 19th.

We understand that this is not the news everyone wants to hear; however, we are receiving reports of positive cases within our program, this coupled with the rising number of cases in other sports and schools in our community has led us to this decision.

We will re-evaluate the situation after the holidays in the hopes that we can start up after the New Year.  Please watch your emails for further updates and if you have any questions let us know.

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday.

  • There will only be referees for the last 2 weeks of the season for the U7 to U15 division to host a mini world cup tournament
  • There will not be any team photos for the 2021 season but individual photos will be made available at the players expense should it be requested.  Requests for individual photos are to be made at the canteen by providing the name of the player and the division.
  • Should a game/training night need to be cancelled due to inclement weather, no remake or refund will be given.  SVSC will always strive to host all nights however there may be times where we need to cancel for the safety of all.  Please note that games/training will continue rain or shine but if you are not sure, please visit the SVSC.ca website or arrive at the field and someone at the canteen will inform you.
